Darius' worst fear is his father confessing he loves D's brother more than him. Their mother is bad enough.
( EXPECTO PATRONUM! ) : Darius' best memory would have to be tricking his brother into eating a dead frog. The end results had been hilarious, even if he'd gotten into deep trouble by their mother. Their father had thought it to be rather funny as well.
( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : The worst memory D holds close to himself is his mother accidentally letting slip that she favors his brother much more than him, and would have prefered him as her only son.
( MIRROR OF ERISED ) : Darius wants to prove to his parents he's just as talented as his brother, even if he's not in Slytherin. He wants more than anything for his mother to finally recognise what he achieves is for her.

( HAIR ) : Darius' hair is kept short, just above the ears. It's a light chestnut brown color, but can be mistaken as blonde if hit with the right light. He often leaves it however it is when he first wakes up, but occasionally spikes the front to make it look slightly tamed. D rather likes his hair the way it is, and will not let anyone try to change it.
( EYES ) : D has warm hazel colored eyes, something he inherited from his father which he's rather happy about. However, they can go a darker hazel if he's angered enough.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : He has fair skin, but occasionally can get some tan to it. Like his brother, Darius has a rather chiseled face. It's muscular enough to be considered manly, and his chin is the most prominent feature. His nose is just the right size, accentuating slightly chapped lips.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : This Hufflepuff is far from lanky; but he isn't quite all the way to being fully muscular, so he's in between really. He's got a body build he's proud of, one that causes some girls that lack subtlety to stare. Darius weighs about 188lbs and stands at 5'11''.
( ATTIRE ) : Other than the standard Hogwarts school uniform, D can be found wearing muggle clothes such as jeans, a shirt and sneakers. The usual attire for a muggle guy.
( SUMMARY ) : Darius can be described by some as ruggedly handsome; while others say he's merely good looking. His hair is a light chestnut color, which stands out at the front mainly. When one stares at his face, all that can be seen is warm hazel colored eyes, which slightly resemble warm honey, a prominent chin, fair skin, a great smile and a fairly normal sized nose. D is average height for guys around his age, as is his weight. He's semi built, though, providing some muscles for the birds to admire.

( PARENTS ) :
Mother: Aveline Griffon, 42, pureblood witch, horrible relationship with Darius.
Father: Lenard Griffon, 45, pureblood wizard, pretty close to Darius.
( SIBLINGS ) : Axel Oliver Griffon, 17, twin brother, Slytherin
( OTHERS ) : Nope, none other.
( HISTORY ) : Darius Ryder Griffon was born to wizarding parents Aveline and Lenard Griffon half an hour after his twin brother Axel on the 11th June, 1980. At first, the childhood both he and his brother experienced was fairly normal for the wizarding children. Aveline and Lenard both adored their boys greatly; to them, nothing was more precious than watching their twins grow up in the magical world. Axel and Darius were fairly close to one another as twins would be; the former being protective of the latter, due to Darius being clumsy and getting into trouble some of the time.

However, this blissful existence was about to end. The boys were sent to Hogwarts at 11 years old, both expecting to be put in the house Slytherin as their mother had so wanted for them. Axel was of course put straight into Slytherin, but the Sorting Hat had other plans for Darius and put him in Hufflepuff. When Aveline learned of this, she was beyond angry and from that moment on began favoring Axel much more than D. However, thankfully for Darius, Lenard was far more accepting than Aveline and told his son congratulations, therefore becoming more closer with Darius.

Now there is constant rivalry between Axel and Darius, but D still loves his brother no matter what is said between them. There has been a few occasions where Axel's come to his aid, displaying a protective brother that Darius remembers from childhood. However, this is rare nowadays. The tension between the brothers is worse than ever before.

it was around sunset that river had decided to head to the beach. not for swimming, no. her thigh was still healing, so any salt water wouldn't be good for it. it would be quiet, seeing as hardly anybody stayed there after sunset so she figured it'd be a good place to get away for a bit and just clear her head with some fresh air. bobby had shook his head when she'd told him what she was doing, but nonetheless allowed her to borrow his truck once again for the trip. it wasn't that she couldn't drive; it was the fact bobby obviously worried about her and her hunt with the werewolf hadn't really improved matters.

parking the truck somewhat nearby the beach, the hunter got out and made her way to the sand. she wore a pair of simple shorts that showed off her legs (along with the bandaged thigh) with an old shirt that hung loosely on her. river wasn't out to impress anyone, so she didn't really see a point to covering up her thigh. there was still a slight limp to her step, but it wasn't as bad as when she'd first acquired the injury. when her bare feet hit the sand, the sigh that escaped her lips was one of contentment. the sand felt soft and warm beneath her toes as she continued towards the shore. the pleasant sound of the waves lapping at the shore reached river's ears, and another sigh was let out.

the brunette sat down at the very edge of the shore, resting her feet on the wet sand in front of her. the wind blew gently, and she momentarily closed her eyes feeling the burdens on her shoulders lift.
