Xyris wanted to go with her uncle, but her father and stepmother insisted to come. Xyris had already packed, so did Solaina and her half-brother. She raced downstairs and insisted to carry her own stuff. She apparated with her Uncle while Solaina and her half-brother went with their parents. Xyris and her Uncle approached quickly and went to the Platform.
Xy glanced around. It was still the same except new first years were going to be added. Xyris sighed, "Another boring sorting will arrive.." she thought. Her Uncle placed a hand on her shoulder and she glanced at her sister, half-brother, father and stepmother arrive. Her Uncle had said goodbye. She kept distance from her family so they wouldn't and couldn't cuddle her like what they're doing to her sister and half-brother. Her stepmother kissed her half-brother's cheeks, "Mum!" he complained. "Shut your mouth. You like it anyway." she thought darkly as she slowly walked in the train.
Xy saw different students. The Weasleys and Harry Potter had arrived, so did other students she knew. She sighed and came in. She found an empty compartment, "At Last! After all those searches..." she thought happily as she flopped down on the chair. She didn't let her pets out their cages since they might fight. Aira, her cat, might attack Juno, her owl. Xy took a potion book and kept reading. Though, she noticed or heard footsteps. |
