Xyris isn't very talkative like other girls. She will only talk once spoken to. It takes time to be friends with her because she dosen't just trust anyone. She's normally friends with her dorm mates. Once friends with her, she'd smile at them every now and then. And will probably open up to them. Xyris is also very protective over her friends and is willing to hex whoever insults them. Though, she dosen't like to be a follower. But she's known in Slytherin. Sometimes she's called "The Second Slytherin Princess" since Pansy Parkinson is the slytherin princess.

Xyris isn't interested on guys that much. Sure she has few crushes but those are just literary crushes. She isn't like other girls who would follow them or gossip about them or hoping that they'll talk to them and then blush when talking to their crushes or something. Xyris hates obvious flirtings 'cause it's useless and immature for her but if she blushed, there's a possibility or she's just flattered. Xyris is very good at hiding her emotions but would blush every now and then. Xyris also hates going to Madam Pudifoots'.

Once angered or pranked, she would use a charm or hex to get it back to you.
