Getting In Some Practice {Harry/Hermione/Ginny}

<sub>'No homework, no homework, no...' Ginny thought repeatedly, happy with herself for finishing the homework quickly and having nothing else to do now. Well, that part wasn't true... Grinning as she grabbed her broom and headed down through the castle and out onto the grounds.

The new Quidditch season would be starting soon and if she wanted to keep her place as Chaser, and make sure Gryffindor stood a chance of winning she would have to practice a lot. So she started off towards the Quidditch Pitch, a light breeze washing over her and ruffling her hair.

Soon she entered the pitch and stood dead centre, looking around. Some great memories had been made on the pitch, and Ginny appreciated getting the chance to be on the Gryffindor team. She loved Quidditch - and secretly she hoped to one day become a Quidditch player for a professional team. Like that could ever happen though.

But as the thought of one day playing professionally filled her head, she swung onto her broom and pushed up and into the air. Grinning happily she swooped through the air, happy to have feet off the ground.</sub>

Hermione never understood Quidditch. She had been watching Harry play Quidditch for years but she's still afraid to ride brooms. Hermione decided to go to the Quidditch Pitch, she noticed Ginny going there. Crookshanks wanted to come along but Hermione locked the door so she couldn't escape. Hermione thought about her essays and homeworks, everything seemed to be done.

She headed in the Quidditch Pitch and saw Ginny. She smiled and headed to her, "Hey Ginny. What's up?"

[/color] she asked with a smile but probably shouted a little because Ginny was up in the sky. Hermione waved and walked to the stands. She sat there and looked at Ginny. She was the perfect match for Harry but she dosen't know why Ginny has to date Dean Thomas to show Harry that she's in a relationship. It dosen't make sense at all.

Hermione remembered a Quidditch Practice. Ronald was itching to join but is scared of rejection. Ginny had tried to be a Seeker but her heart led her to being a Chaser. She smiled at how things had worked out but maybe soon, Voldemort might rise. There could be a 2nd War..[/blockquote]

<sub>Flying so high up, going so fast... Ginny just left everything behind. Her worries for the future - would there really be a war? Would everyoen she loved survive? She left behind her love anxieties and worries over whether or not she was doing the right thing. Flying made her happy and free in a strange way. She laughed softly and swooped a bit, before hearing someone call out.

She barely managed to make out the words, but she got the gist of it. Looking down, she saw Hermione. Smiling she waved slightly, before flying down a little. "Hermione! Hi! What are you doing down here? Thinking of trying out for Quidditch are we?" She joked softly, not meaning to tease, just joke with one her of best friends. After all it was slightly strange to see her here.

Shrugging, she hovered a bit above the ground. "Not much. Quidditch season is starting soon so I thought I'd get in some practice. Everything good with you?"

She hadn't managed to see a lot of her best friend over the summer, and she hoped everything was going well with her. No doubt Hermione to had been thinking of the growing threat of war and what would happen.</sub>

Hermione smiled as Ginny approached her a little. They had been best friends since Ginny's first year. She met her at Flourish and Blotts, where they encountered Malfoy. Things had changed since then. Ginny and Hermione had talked to each other about things that interest them the most. Hermione might not be as girlish as Ginny but they're still best friends. Ginny started dating when she was 13. Hermione dated at 14.

Hermione's eyes widened when Ginny joked around her. Hermione hates getting teased or joked around, this was something Harry took advantage of. "Ginny, you know that i'll never get near a broom right? And never will actually."

[/color] she replied, probably noticing that Ginny was joking around. Even Hermione didn't knew why she wanted to go here. Maybe to just think of the future and stuff but she could always go to the Astronomy Tower or lock herself in her dormitory. "Heard Ronald's joining as a Keeper. Harry's also the captain this year. And...wait.. Have you seen Ronald? I haven't seen him since the train ride."[/color] she asked carefully, not wanting to push up the conversation. "I sound so much like Harry now.." she thought to herself darkly.[/blockquote]

After all that happened with Darius at the pitch the other day, extra practice became a top priority, and Harry started spending time at the pitch daily, even though Aurors were getting suspicious about it, Harry didn't really care, did they think he was hiding or talking to someone ? Silly thoughts actually.

Harry entered the pitch and noticed two figures talking, one was Ginny, it was hard to miss her red hair and height, the other was a curly haired know-it-all , Hermione.

Seeing Ginny there was expected, but he thought Hermione might be lost or something, I mean, she perfectly knew where the library was, did she get confused ? The only two reasonable explanations were, she either was there to talk to Ginny or Someone casted some kind of confusion charm on her.

he made sure to change into his quidditch uniform before heading their way,Hey, Ginny ! Hermione, is something the matter ? well he had to ask, see what kind of story she would tell, and make sure she was sane and perfectly aware she was at the quidditch pitch.

Hermione and Ronald didn't get along as much as she got along with Harry. They had fought on their 1st and 4th year. Harry and Hermione had been.. okay when they met and eventually became close as time goes by. Ginny became her best friend and is probably helping her with Harry.

Hermione heard Harry's voice and looked there. Hermione smiled and side-glanced at Ginny. It was obvious that even Harry was wondering why she was here. Actually, even she was confused why she was there. "Maybe someone confundused me..." she thought as Harry approached. Being the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, no doubt that he'll be here. Ginny's on of the Gryffindor Chasers so it's also no wonder. "Hey Harry. Uh.. I'm not sure? Maybe I just needed to think for a while." she responded, unsure. Hermione could always go to the library, astronomy tower or the common room but the Quidditch Pitch? That's a surprise.

Hermione never saw Ronald since the first day. "Wonder where he is.." she thought as she faced the two "lovebirds", "Hey Guys. Have you seen Ronald? I haven't seen him since the first day." she asked, trying to maintain a normal voice. She didn't want to sound like Harry because in his voice, there can be a hint of jealousy heard.

<sub>Ginny laughed as Hermione told her she would never get on a broom. And it was true. Ginny couldn't even imagine Mione on a broom. Or at least, not without laughing, and that would just be cruel. She paused, frowning lightly as she thought over her next question, where was Ron? And was it slightly strange that Hermione seemed so concerned? But for the moment, Ginny passed it off as Mione being best friends with her brother.

As she opened her mouth to reply, she noticed Hermione's attention was somewhere else, and as Ginny slid off her broom she saw Harry wander up to them. A bright grin instantly appeared on her face, but she quickly made it just a normal, polite smile as she realised Hermione would never let her live it down and never stop questioning her and Dean if she saw her looking strangely at Harry.

"Hey there, Harry." She gave him a slight wave then had to cover her mouth with her hand to stiffle a laughter at Harry's question and Hermiones look. She too had questioned Hermione being on the Quidditch Pitch, it was very strange. She grinned, then heard Hermione ask about Ron once more. She really was concerned. "I haven't seen him about as much lately. I try not to follow him or anything. Actually..." She paused then continued, "I haven't actually talked to him since he blew up about me and Dean."</sub>

Hermione smiled and mentally slapped herself. She asked about Ronald twice, now they might think of her falling for him. She can't be. Their the exact opposites. Some have been thinking that Hermione and Harry will be together or had been together on their 4th Year but Ginny was the perfect person for Harry through and through. The same goes for Harry. Hermione couldn't stop thinking about how their children would be rule breakers.

Hermione glanced at the two, surely there's something happening. "Maybe i shouldn't be here.." she though. She wanted to leave the two since they look like they wanted to say something to each other. Hermione looks strangely at the two and gazes back at the castle. "Okay... Captain Potter, i think you two are up here for practice. Why don't you two go ahead while i sit here. or help out without touching a broom"

[/color] she joked, hoping they would forget that she asked about Ronald.

Hermione looked at their brooms. She tried to ride a broom once but got scared when she got near it. She watched several matches. She wouldn't hide that she's truly afraid after what happened to Harry on their 2nd Year. Hermione sheepishly smiled at the two. "I meant it when i said that i'd do anything that dosen't have to get near a broom."[/color][/blockquote][/size]
