On a saturday afternoon, Harry left the quidditch pitch after practice and ran to the common room, after showering and changing clothes, he paced through the seventh floor corridor and came to a stop in front of a very familiar wall. He closed his eyes and wished he could be in the room where he taught the Defense against the dark arts to his fellow students last year.
Flipping a golden galleon in his hand, he changed the time and date to when he got there, the others would surely get the message as hermione charmed a galleon for each one of them last year to heat up and show the date that he wanted, so they could know when to meet, hopefully they would all have theirs in their pockets.
he was sure that not all of them would show up, but at least, the ones that would could pass the word to the others and slowly they would all be there, not all, but the ones that still believe that the DA wasn't just a waste of time, they did bring down umbridge together, he kept staring at the mirror that still had half the names list attached to it, along with Cedric's photograph.

After Quidditch practice was over, Ginny was tired and slightly cold - the weather hadn't exactly been the best. Hurrying to get into warmer clothes, she went for a shower and changed, glad to be able to rest for the while.
Or so she thought when she remembered that she had a lot of homework that needed to be done already. Traipsing up the many, many staircases of the castle, Ginny sighed. Everyone was so tense and on edge - who could blame them? But this just wasn't the Hogwarts she had come to love and see as a sort of home for the years she had been there. Everyone was breaking off into groups, afraid of what might happen - afraid if the dreaded Dark Mark would appear over their loved ones homes. And the Slytherins, after many Death Etarer being rounded up, they were in awful moods, snapping even amongst themselves.
It was quite a difficult time, but Ginny remained positive that things would get better, at least for a while. As this thought past her mind, a heat swept through one of her pockets, causing Ginny to start. Quickly rooting through it, she brought out a gold galleon that she recognised instantly. The DA galleon. It was a wonder she still had it in her pocket, but she had been looking over it the night before after looking through her trunk and sorting things out.
If the galleon was heating up then did that mean...? A grin grew on her face as noted the new time and date. The here and now. As quickly as she could without looking too suspicious she headed over tothe wall where the room of requirement was kept. With pupose, wishing to be back in the room where th DA meetings and practices where held, she walked past a few times, and again got that childish feeling of delight, and excitement as a door appeared where once there was wall.
She slipped through as quickly as possible, so that no one would spot her. As she turned around to look across the room that she had occupied so frequently last year, her eyes came to rest on the form that was Harry. "Hey Harry..." Slowly she moved forward towards the window a tiny bit.

He could almost perfectly see Pettigrew's wand rise from his side to Cedric's face. Two more seconds and he would still be alive, he could have been living in Godric's hollow working at the ministry with his dad, maybe an auror, or even get a job at Hogwarts. but it all had to end that way, Cedric had to die because he was too generous, and too kind to share the cup with him.
Sirius and Mr.Weasley always tried to make Harry feel better by telling him that it was never his fault. But if you come to think about it, Voldemort killed people that ever came in contact with Harry. Even if hey weren't very close to him, everyone who knew harry Potter, either ended up dead, chased or in trouble.
He heard the wall take form to be replaced by the door again, finally someone showed up, good to know one of them still had it in his pocket, the chances were very low that half the DA would be there.
he recognized the voice and turned around to see Ginny, not being in a very good mood, he simply replied Hi... he turned back to face the mirror again, tearing from it the piece of parchment and throwing it to the ground before kicking it to the corner.
Today, just today, life felt miserable and meaningless to him. As if his only reason for ever being born is to fight Voldemort. For once he wanted to go to Hogwarts without having to fight something at the end of the year, to have to finish a hole year without getting injured, and get covered with blood. To do whatever he wanted without making the headlines on the daily prophet. Or having everyone stare at him because he talked to a snake.

Ginny took another step forward and heard the door disappear behind her. Now no one would be able to get in unless they were a member of the DA. She hoped a few more people would arrive. She took another step forward before freezing as she watched Harry's sudden, violent movement. Her eyes trained in on Harry and watched him closely. He wasn't in a good shape. He had been thinking about something. Bad things. She could tell that straight away.
She stood there silently for a moment longer and then turned away from him. Slowly and deliberately she headed towards the corner. With the war going on she couldn't blame Harry for his thoughts turning red and angry. But she hated to see him like that. As she reached the corner, she knelt down picking up the paper and trying to smooth it out. There was a small rip in it, and of course it would never look as smooth as before, but it was better. It was alright.
Standing up she turned around, still making sure not to look at Harry. Giving him the space he wanted. Or needed. Walking straight past him she headed over to the mirror. Taking in another deep breath, she stuck it back up carefully.
Only then did she finally turn to look at Harry properly. "It's... It's going to be okay, right?" She hadn't meant to say that. Not as a question at least. She had meant to reassure him that things would be fine. But somehow the words got mixed up as they came out, and she was looking to him for reassurance. In his anger and pain... she was scared. Not of him. But for him.
"I.. Uh, d'you think other people will turn up?" She hurried on.

He didn't mean to sound rude but it was too much stress to deal with, i mean, everything that happened in the last 16 years went wrong, the order of the phoenix, his parents, and every person that stood up to Voldemort.
he noticed Ginny's movement and made sure not to look at her, keeping his eyes on Cedric, and for a second he felt himself sharing his smile. But he replaced it by a straight expression and watched as Ginny put the parchment back to it's place.
When she talked to him, he sighed and shook his head, I don't know about that anymore Ginny, things were never really ok, were they ? All we could do is get ready, sit and wait. He paused before turning to face her, You're going to do me a favor, this year, if things go bad, you won't get involved, whatever happens, you attend our DA meetings and nothing else, whatever Ron, Hermione and me get into, you will keep out of it.
He shook his head at her last question, Well, i doubt any of them still have the galleon, but we won't be practicing at all today, we're just going to announce that the DA is back and talk. But even if they don't show up, we'll make sure they know about it.
Just having Ginny out of this was a relief for him, he can't say the same about Ron and Hermione, they established it a long time ago, that he goes nowhere without them, not that he had a say in the matter, he would ask them to get away if needed, but it was clear what they would say, so better not ask at all then have Hermione screaming at him for a few weeks.

She watched the door closely, a part of her hoping for someone to hand up. Another part hoping no one did. taking in a deep breath to look over at Harry again. Listening, at first unsure what to say. How could she make such a promise? Knowing that the people she cared about were risking their lives and yet she was doing nothing. But then she looked closer at Harry and knew he really didn't want her involved. She wasn't sure, and she gave a half-shrug before replying.
"I won't go... Risking my life for unnecessary things. Or doing something stupid. But if I can help..." she paused, thinking how best to put it. But she couldn't find the best way to do it, so she blundered on. "Harry, if I can help I just have to. I do."
She sighed, running a hand through her hair. She gave him a soft ghostly smile. "But honestly, I won't risk myself. Promise."
Nodding, she took in his answer to her other question. She had thought the same really. It was only pure luck that she had hers on her and had found out. "I think we'll be able to do that. Tell them about it." She smiled softly at him.

Hermione noticed Harry and Ginny had missed their lunches. Hermione stalked out of the Great Hall and searched for the possible places they could go. Hermione searched everywhere they had hanged out before but none occured. She gave up soon and wanted to rest. On her way to the Gryffindor Common Room, she remembered her fifth year. They had formed a group called Dumbledore's Army or DA for short. Cho Chang wanted their group to be called Defense Assosiation but Ginny said that Dumbledore's Army is better.
Hermione picked something on her pocket. It was the Galleon they used to enter. It had a set date. "Hm...Maybe they're in the Room of Requirement" she thought as she headed there. She held the Galleon as the door appeared. She peeked inside and saw Harry and Ginny. She didn't want to interrupt the two but Harry had called them there. She stepped inside slowly and closed the door. She stayed near the door for a while, "Hey Guys.. What'd you call me for?" she asked the two as she stepped near Ginny. Hermione looked around, she missed the old times. Even if she felt guilty breaking the rules, sometimes she felt good breaking them. After this year, she'll arrive in her seventh year then the outside world. It was always what she thought but Voldemort had rised, it's possible that she won't be here for her seventh year. "I miss this place terribly.." she said silently. She smiled as she remembered casting her Patronus and beating Ronald in their Duel. She looked at the two, the three of them were the only ones around.[/blockquote]

Watching Harry closely, trying to pick up everything, it took a second for Ginny to realise the sound she had heard was the door reappearing on the wall. Reluctantly tearing her eyes away from Harry she turned to see who the new person would be. A cheery and warm smile appeared on her face as Miss Granger appeared.
It was always good to see a best friend, and she was glad another DA member had gotten the message. It was just so sad to think that the group, the family from last year was now broken up. Umbridge was no longer a teacher, but could Snape really be much better? And with war looming, surely now more than ever, they needed to know how to properly defend themselves. The sight of Hermione entering the room gave her slight hope that more people would appear.
"Hey Mione." She smiled a little brighter before looking over at Harry. "I was actually about to ask Harry the same thing." She looked around the empty room with a smile on her face.
"I don't really like seeing this room so empty. Or having it so quiet." Ginny said after a while. And it was true. Usually the place had been lively - with mock duels, and practices, and the odd patronus about the place.

Harry took the opportunity of her smile and smiled back, he looked down at first putting his thoughts together but then had the courage to finally say something, Ginny, I was wondering if... He didn't get the chance to finish that sentence since Hermione chose the perfectly inappropriate moment to show up, I knew you would show up, You're the only person I was completely sure still had the galleon in her pocket.
Hermione blew the chance for him to finally say something to Ginny, and he instantly took it as a sign, clearly something or someone didn't want him to let her know about anything, pure bad luck eh ? Now everyone knows Voldemort is back, there's no point of hiding ourselves, I'm going to get permission from Professor Dumbledore to make the DA an official dueling club. A private club, for the ones that were a part of it last year.
He took a look around the room, focusing on the ceiling, then looking back at the mirror, with a rotten mistletoe root hanging above it. Harry Smiled at his thoughts, his memories, but soon awoke, Me too, It was an amazing move we made against umbridge last year, I can't believe we actually organized it. I can't believe Hermione broke all those rules with us and still made prefect ! I'm going to miss Having Fred and George in this room, though i'm sure the only reason they agreed to come was because umbridge banned Snogging around the castle, but still...It was fun having them around.

Before Hermione had entered, Ginny had been so sure that Harry had been about to tell her something important. He had, right? Or, maybe not important as such... but something that would change things. Did that count as important? Maybe, maybe not. It didn't matter now, did it? She sighed softly, as Harry talked to Hermione. She had wanted to hear what he had been about to say so badly... Maybe, just maybe there was a chance she could bring it up again?
But not right now. The timing wasn't right. But soon. She'd have to do it soon. Or maybe he would speak up again? She nodded slowly, listening to Harry's plans for the DA. "I'm sure Dumbledore will allow you to do so. I mean... He supported it, in his own way last year. And now more than ever do we need to be able to defend ourselves."
She nodded briskly, believing her words. But every now and then, even as she talked her eyes would dart over to Harry. She couldn't help it. What had he been about to say? Did it matter now, and would he ask again?
Ginny laughed brightly at Harry's next words. It was certainly true. It was an amazing move, though she had doubts that was the only reason her brothers had joined up. "It was great that so many people could turn up. And it certainly was fun to have them around. To have everyone around..." A soft smile flitted across her face. She looked around the room closely, trying to bring up memories of the groups time together.
As her eyes trailed to mirror, she moved over as well, walking to look at the pictures lining it.

Hermione looked at the two. Probably raised an eyebrow a little, they seemed... akward to each other right now. Hermione wanted to ask whatever she interrupted but probably forgot when she was going to say when Harry told her that he knew she'll be here. Harry was right though, Hermione would always keep the galleon. Not only because she made it, but also because it contained so much memories. She never thought of coming back at the place again. It's almost a year back then.
Hermione glanced at Harry and rolled her eyes. She frowned when Harry mentioned Voldemort. She isn't afraid of Voldemort at all, she's just afraid of what would happend to her family.. to her friends. "I.. I don't know Harry. I mean, he did support the DA back then but... After all those going in around.. The Daily Prophet and stuff. And.. I have a feeling that not all should be trusted in this. Maybe we should ask Dumbledore but.. it'll be all to us who joined last year." She explained. Hermione had thought of this before so she knows what to say. Since everyone knows about Voldemort these days, there might be Death Eaters around the school. Hermione took a deep, annoyed, breath as Harry joked again. She frowned when Harry looked at the misletoe. Hermione already knows what he's thinking. Hermione glanced at the fire. It was still lit up after a year. "I couldn't believe it too. I mean.. I've broke a lot of rules. 1st year, 3rd year and 5th Year. But still.. a prefect," she laughed, she couldn't expect it happen at all. "But i would still love it if the DA comes back. I miss the old times."[/blockquote]
